POETRY TIMEOUT - Lost and Found
Time & Location
About the Event
Hosted by The Garrison Institute:
Join poet, singer, scholar Jennifer Bloom on the Sunday before the full moon for an online performance of original poems, songs, stories on the theme “Lost and Found.” In this hour-long presentation, Jennifer will offer a guided meditation and take you on a poetic journey of discovery, crafting a setting to feel, to consider, to discover. Jennifer will read poems and sing with the intention to create a space of sanctuary, to take a timeout from the day-to-day, and to reflect on the sacredness of being alive in this moment.
Kids and families are welcome. Feel free to bring a beverage, a meal, a journal, or come in your PJ’s. Create the space you need to feel nourished. The virtual “doors” will open at 7:50, so please feel free to come early to settle into this space. Suggested donation is $25, but all levels of giving are welcome and deeply appreciated. A link to the recording will be e-mailed to all those who register to ensure that anyone unable to attend the live event is still able to enjoy the program.
This live webinar will be conducted on Zoom at 8pm EDT on Sunday, February 21st. The webinar link will be emailed to participants within twenty-four hours of registration. Registration closes at 6pm EDT on Sunday, February 21st.
