Virtual Retreat
About the Event
This half-day retreat will begin with self-compassion as a doorway into our interconnected nature. Our nature is love and when we are deeply connected to our loving, kind, and compassionate self, this natural state of being can expand into our relationships, our work, and our movements on the planet. Cultivating self-compassion can be one of the very useful practices in forming compassion for all life. From this sacred space we will explore the possibility of compassion for ourselves in the present moment and also as an action we can embody and carry into the world.
Sign up with a friend or partner or attend on your own. Come with an open heart and a curious mind. The retreat will include:
• Gentle movement practices • Meditation practice • Sound journey • Inquiry through journaling and dialogue • Intention setting for daily action
In the words of a participant from a past retreat with the Fellows, “The retreat container you collectively held open for us was a much needed space, a space I didn’t realize I needed until I was inside. Your prompts, collective stillness, space for reflection, has clarified and catalyzed SO MUCH since that day of mindfulness a few weeks ago.”
This virtual retreat will be conducted through Zoom on Saturday, June 12, 2021 from 12:00 pm EDT – 6:00 pm EDT.
The virtual retreat link will be emailed to participants within twenty-four hours of your registration.
